Or perhaps a revolution? Some notes on our new process for branding and reflecting on July 4th.
"What is a business revolution really about - it is about extra-ordinariness; being it to create it, to restore it. There are no magic bullets, it is about the ongoing commitment to being, creating, restoring extraordinary as the norm - the new normal."
Given our theme last week on the New Normal and yesterday's obvious celebration of an audacity 235 years old, extraordinary must become the new normal. Be extraordinary by doing something extraordinary. It is not an event, it is cumulative. It requires a core to build upon until the idea achieves critical mass and becomes reality. Given the difficulty of starting and growing a successful business, why strive for average? Why not go the additional distance and create something great?
"Be the company you want to work for, be the company you want to be the customer of, be the company that builds the products and services you want to use - that is the source of a break away business."
"Start with the how - how your products or services will change the lives of clients in emotional terms - how will they feel when you have delivered, what great weights or burdens will be removed, how will it change their outlook on life? What you make speaks about you - what you make defines you!"
Some branding thoughts - we help the most critical people in the country (entrepreneurs) by filling in their gaps - what they lack will destroy everything they have done or attempted to achieve, we help them reduce their fears and enormous risks - the day to day pressure of carrying the weight of the world.
We are not selling stuff, we are selling quality of life solutions.
Now transforming this into a brand that is obvious and excites.
